  recommend list vendors, harvesting processes or auto-dialers.

  Your list maintenance is an aspect of broadcasting that is critical
  to successful long-term results.  The basics are...

  Area Code Updates            Area Codes are modified nationwide on an on-going
  basis. Therefore numbers that may have connected successfully last year may not
  connect this year. To connect with the highest percentage of the recipients on your
  list, area code updates should be performed every 3 to 6 months.

  The following list maintenance functions also help to ensure that your
  database works effectively for you.  Each link on the left will provide you
  with a White Paper in PDF format (viewable with Adobe Acrobat®) to help
  you perform the function using Microsoft Access®.

  De-Duping                            De-duping is the function of removing duplicate records from your list.  This is of great importance if you are not sure that your list is already de-duped or if you have merged two lists together.

  Concatenating                     Concatenating is the function of joining the data from two fields together into one field.  There are many instances where concatenating fields together may be necessary.  Examples include…
…  when more than one person shares the same fax number, but each person wants to receive a copy of your fax.  You would create a new field in your list, which would join the fax number and recipient’s name into one field before de-duping on that field.  Then you would merge the recipient’s name onto the document so that each fax copy is addressed to a different person.
…  when the area code and local number are not in the same field, you need to concatenate them together into the same fax number field
... to add a '1' to precede the fax number.

  Removing 'DoNotSends'       It is extremely important to honor the requests from people who do not want to receive future messages from you.  We can scrub your job lists against the national DoNotCall Registry and other Removal lists at no charge.
